The room and bathroom were very clean and exceeded expectations. If I ever stay in Plymouth again, I will go back to the Crowne.

Nice Hotel in Odd Location
I recently stayed for three nights at the Crowne Plaza Minneapolis West. The hotel itself was pretty decent. Rooms were comfortable, and I liked the overall feel of the lobby area and hotel in general. The meals were very good at this hotel. As a general rule, I dread hotel food. However, I had everything from breakfast to burgers to the buffet. Overall, the food was good. Meeting rooms are adequate, and staff were friendly. There is a lounge and a couple of restaurants within the hotel. I have to admit that I find the hotel in an odd, out-of-the way spot. I drove though a residential area from the Interstate to get there. If not for my GPS, I would have thought that I was in the wrong spot. I would stay here again.

Fantastic service and top notch quality
I was expecting an ordinary run of the mill hotel when I booked at the Crown Plaza. Upon entering the lobby, I was amazed to find myself in a very classy, warm lobby and was greeted warmly by superb front desk staff. The room I had was amazing! It was so nice and comfortable, in fact, I wished I was staying for more than one night! Leaving in the morning was tough.

Beautiful hotel and great service
The hotel is a beautiful property in a very nice quiet neighborhood close to shopping and dining. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. We always enjoy our stay there when visiting Minneapolis. The Sunday brunch is a real treat.

Good: Great pool and friendly staff
Bad: The bed was really hard and the building was so big and there was one elevator that it would take several minutes to exit.

Super nice, super clean!
Love the layout and look of the Crowne Plaza West! Such a cool interior, reminds me of a warehouse that's been transformed. Only drawback is the hallways are forever long and if your room is at the end then be prepared for a walk and a half! Other than that it was very nice, everyone was friendly and we enjoyed our stay. The rooms were clean, typical, but clean. Of course at the Crowne there is no complimentary breakfast, but they do have a restaurant. We did not make it down there but heard others say it was good. Would love to return!

Better than expected
Value was great - and the drive into downtown wasn't bad at all. I'd rather save the money and drive a little longer - especially since the quality of the hotel far exceeded the equivalently priced rooms closer to the city.

Up and Down
This is an excellent hotel. The comfort, atmosphere and access to everything one may need is very evident. There are always enough staff to address the number of clients and they are very polite and accomodating. The only issue I have is the layout. There are stairs everywhere. There are alternatives, plenty of access for handicapped and patient people who don't mind going right to go left. But if you want to take a straight line to most places, you're going to encounter stairs.

We visited the hotel with family. Our room was very nice and the price was good for the room. The staff was warm and friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was good on Saturday and Sunday brunch was extra good with lots of choices including an extensive omelet bar. It is an ideal facility for business retreats.
